Drive continuous improvement through failure analysis and strategic planning The Front End Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for leading mechanical maintenance activities for Front End equipment, ensuring high asset availability, reliability, and performance. This role strategically manages technical teams, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement, ensuring operational safety, technical excellence, and equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate mechanical maintenance activities for Front End equipment, ensuring asset availability, reliability, and performance; * Lead, develop, and train the mechanical maintenance team, fostering a safe, collaborative, and results-oriented environment; * Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other legal requirements; * Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, and improvement activities; * Define maintenance priorities jointly with Production and PCM, ensuring adherence to preventive plans and reduction of backlog; * Monitor maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, Availability, Preventive Plan Compliance, and Maintenance Costs; * Develop reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) plans and manage critical assets and spare parts; * Participate in commissioning, startup, and technical acceptance of new equipment, supporting modernization projects; * Lead failure analyses using RCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and FMEA, implementing continuous improvement actions to enhance reliability and reduce costs; * Manage supplier and service provider contracts, as well as maintenance budget and costs. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields; * Experience leading industrial maintenance teams; * Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; * Experience in PCM, asset management, and maintenance KPIs; * Knowledge of TPM, failure analysis, and continuous improvement; * Familiarity with maintenance ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in the metal packaging or beverage industry; * Hands-on experience with Front End equipment for aluminum can manufacturing (Cupper, Bodymaker, Trimmer, Washer, and material handling systems); * Participation in Greenfield projects or industrial startups; * Knowledge of TOTVS; * Lean Six Sigma certification; * Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
