**Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for controlling the industrial fermentation process for various products—from inoculation and propagation through to main fermentation. Process control/operation must be performed either from an automated control room or on-site alongside equipment (fermenters, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, instruments, etc.). Control the purification process, primarily consisting of centrifugation and, in some cases, other unit operations such as distillation, filtration, crystallization, and drying.
**Requirements:**
* Currently pursuing or completed technical high school education in chemistry or related fields.
* Active CRQ registration or proof of ongoing technical course enrollment.
* Availability to work on a 6x2 schedule and rotating shifts.
* Specific knowledge of chemical processes related to purification, fermentation, and unit operations—thus capable of interpreting processes and correcting deviations (process control).
* Technical knowledge regarding NR13 (Boilers, Pressure Vessels, and Piping).
