FTTX/FTTH Optical Fiber Technician

Job Summary: Professional responsible for optical network installation and maintenance, performing fiber installation, signal measurements, and router configurations. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in internal and external optical fiber installation and routing 2. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on FTTx optical networks 3. Works on FTTx access installation and maintenance, as well as optical cable splicing Work Location: Rua Oriente Bras Install internal and external optical fiber. Route internal cabling. Perform signal measurement using a power meter. Conduct basic tests and configurations on customer routers. Assemble fast connectors on drop fiber for router installation. Maintain and handle optical fiber tools and instruments properly during use and transport. Ensure normal communication for FTTx segment access points. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on optical networks and FTTx customer environments. Meet established deadlines for activities within the FTTx segment. Carry out operational tasks using materials and instruments provided by the company. Execute FTTx access installation and maintenance activities. Perform aerial optical cable maintenance and splicing.
