Description
**Responsibilities:**
* Install and configure fiber optic networks in compliance with established technical and quality standards.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber optic networks, identifying and resolving connection and performance issues.
* Conduct network certification tests using specialized equipment, such as OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) and Power Meter, Fusion Splicer.
* Perform fiber optic cable splicing and terminations, ensuring high-quality connections with minimal signal loss.
* Prepare technical reports on performed activities, including details about installations, maintenance, and repairs carried out.
* Collaborate with engineers and other technicians for the development and implementation of fiber optic network expansion and improvement projects.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures during field activities.
* Maintain organization and proper condition of tools and equipment, ensuring functionality and availability.
* Participate in ongoing training and capacity-building programs to stay updated on new telecommunications technologies and practices.
* Respond to emergency service calls for repairs and maintenance at varying hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
**Key Market Qualifications:**
* Completed high school education, with technical training in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields.
* Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic networks.
* Solid knowledge of fiber optic technologies and measurement equipment.
* Relevant technical certifications: FTTX, (e.g., CFOT \- Certified Fiber Optic Technician) are desirable.
* Ability to work at heights and under various environmental conditions.
Compensation: starting from R$1\.700,00 per month
