Description
Acting as a Business Architect, connecting corporate strategy with technological execution, technically leading architects and ensuring architectural coherence, scalability, and continuous modernization of the ecosystem.
The specialist must operate at the strategic level while descending to technical decisions, with a proven track record and documented history of complex architectural decisions — especially those involving technological modernization.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Define the architecture (business \+ solutions \+ technologies) for the scope of work (corporate and/or vertical).
* Technically lead architects and/or architecture teams (including mentoring and maturity uplift).
* Approve critical architectural designs and guide trade-offs (cost, latency, consistency, timeline, risk).
* Ensure alignment with corporate architecture, principles, standards, and decision forums.
* Lead legacy modernization (systems and processes), reducing technical debt and enabling evolution.
* Influence the technology roadmap and target architectures.
* Serve as the bridge between Business/Product and Technology/Engineering, translating needs into architectural decisions.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Translating business strategy into target architectures.
* Experience leading cross-domain initiatives.
* Leadership of modernization programs.
* Implementation of corporate platforms.
* Experience in complex environments (large enterprises, high scale).
* Knowledge and application of TOGAF (capability-based planning).
* Experience with Business Capability Maps.
* Experience with Value Streams.
* Experience with transformation roadmaps.
**Preferred Experience**
* Familiarity with the BIAN model.
* Banking/fintech experience (core banking, ledger layer, payment methods, investments, CRM, channels).
* Knowledge of Zachman Framework (reference model).
* Experience with scalable digital platforms.
* Real-world digital transformation experience.
* Use of AI in architecture.
