Description

Job Summary: Responsible for performing splices, fusions, fiber/HFC testing, and installing/maintaining aerial networks (fusion-spliced and connectorized) in BBN and FTTX/HFC topologies. Key Highlights: 1. Performing splices, fusions, and fiber/HFC testing 2. Installation and maintenance of optical fiber in aerial networks 3. Proficiency in interpreting project drawings and using measurement equipment Responsibilities: * Perform splices and fusions on passive components and fiber/HFC testing to ensure service integrity; understand all processes across aerial network environments. * Conduct tests to ensure service integrity, with full proficiency in interpreting project drawings and operating measurement equipment—such as OTDRs and power meters—for diagnostics and monitoring in TX environments. * Install and maintain optical fiber in aerial networks (fusion-spliced and connectorized), within BBN and FTTX/HFC topologies.
