**Responsibilities and Duties**
Immediately report any incident with potential casualties or health-related demands to the Urgent Medical Regulation Center; assess the incident scene, identify circumstances of the event, and report them to the regulating physician or the healthcare team designated by him/her; identify and manage risks at the accident scene, establish the operational area, and guide the movement of the healthcare team; perform basic life support maneuvers under the guidance of the regulating physician; gain access to and remove casualty(ies) to a safe location where they can receive appropriate care from the healthcare team; and, if requested by the healthcare team or designated by the regulating physician, transport casualties to the healthcare facility determined by medical regulation; stabilize crashed vehicles; perform extrication and manual extraction, or use specialized firefighting equipment; assess the casualty’s condition, identifying and reporting to the regulating physician their respiratory status, pulse, and level of consciousness, as well as a general description of their condition and the circumstances of the incident, including witness statements; accurately describe the urgency scene and the patient to the regulating physician; know techniques for transporting trauma patients; maintain patent airways using manual and non-invasive maneuvers, administer oxygen, and perform artificial ventilation; perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation using external chest compression; control external bleeding through direct pressure, limb elevation, and pressure points, using dressings and bandages; mobilize and remove patients with spinal protection, using cervical collars, backboards, and other immobilization and transport equipment; apply dressings and bandages; immobilize fractures using available equipment; provide initial treatment for intoxications according to agreed protocols or as directed by the regulating physician; assist in normal deliveries during the expulsive phase and perform basic maneuvers for newborns and mothers; remain in contact with the medical regulation center, relaying initial and subsequent reports regarding the scene and patient(s) to enable decision-making and monitoring of care by the regulating physician; know and operate all equipment and materials belonging to the response vehicle; relay treatment information to the healthcare team designated by the regulating physician to act at the incident site; know and use personal biological protection equipment; complete mandatory forms and records of the urgent care system and service; perform triage of multiple casualties when necessary or upon request by the healthcare team; participate in training and continuing education programs, per the terms of this Regulation. Whenever requested by the Client, must conduct breathalyzer tests on employees and third-party contractors of this company.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:**
* HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
* 200-HOUR PREHOSPITAL CARE (APH) COURSE
* Driver’s license for emergency vehicles, with the Specific Course for Emergency Vehicle Transport (CETVE) indicated on the National Driver’s License (CNH), in compliance with CONTRAN Resolution No. 168 dated December 14, 2004.
* Professional experience: 6 months

* **Salary:** R$1550.00
* **Transportation Allowance (per day):** R$20
* **Meal Allowance (per day):** R$36
* **Workload:** 180 hours/week
* **Additional Benefit:** Medium-level occupational hazard allowance
* **Shift:** 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
