Description: We are seeking a Life Project Teacher to work with upper-grade Elementary School classes, fostering socioemotional competencies, self-awareness skills, future planning, youth agency, and conscious decision-making. The professional will be responsible for facilitating formative practices that support students in building their personal, academic, and professional goals, aligned with the BNCC.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Plan and deliver Life Project lessons in accordance with the BNCC and the school’s pedagogical framework.
* Foster self-awareness, reflection on personal life trajectories, and development of socioemotional competencies.
* Design practical projects and collaborative activities that support students in setting goals and planning their futures.
* Monitor students’ holistic development by practicing active listening, providing guidance, and implementing pedagogical interventions tailored to class needs.
* Assess the formative process considering attitudinal aspects, participation, and individual progress.
* Participate in pedagogical meetings, professional development sessions, and institutional initiatives.
* Collaborate with pedagogical teams, educational counselors, and families as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Completed undergraduate degree in Pedagogy, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields (diverse teaching licenses accepted if accompanied by experience or complementary training in the socioemotional area).
* Knowledge of the BNCC, especially regarding the Life Project component.
* Prior experience working with adolescents and implementing socioemotional practices is preferred.
* Strong communication skills, conflict mediation ability, and empathetic listening.
* Capacity to facilitate discussions, talking circles, and reflective activities.
