Job Summary: We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to conduct assessments, diagnoses, and interventions for communication, language, and swallowing disorders, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of management and rehabilitation of swallowing disorders We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at CBTEA \- Dr. João Côrtes de Barros Institute of Neuropsychiatry, located in Barra da Tijuca. This position includes daily responsibilities such as assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for communication, language, and swallowing disorders, as well as ongoing patient follow-up. Qualifications Specialized clinical practice focused on care and follow-up of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and neurodevelopmental disorders. Speech Therapy: Experience with speech-language pathology techniques and diagnostic approaches to support patients with specific needs in this field. Communication and Language: Skills to address speech, communication, and language disorders, promoting effective communication development and rehabilitation. Swallowing Disorders: Knowledge of management and rehabilitation of swallowing disorders (dysphagia) across varying levels of complexity. Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active registration in the professional regulatory council. Prior experience working with patients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other neurodevelopmental disorders. Training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a plus.
