




Job Summary: A speech-language pathology professional for assessment, screening, and treatment of oral and written language disorders, with a focus on social inclusion and coordination with the healthcare network. Studies and research in the field of physical and intellectual disabilities Responsibilities: Conduct speech-language assessments, screenings, monitoring, and diagnoses of oral and written language disorders; Provide individual and group interventions according to each user's needs; Guide caregivers, companions, and family members to ensure continuity of care and social inclusion; Coordinate with primary healthcare services and train professionals at this level of care; Integrate with other services within the intersectoral network; Conduct studies and research in the field of physical and intellectual disabilities; Request examinations and issue certificates, opinions, and reports as stipulated by current legislation; Perform other related duties. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Active professional council registration (State of SC); Experience in speech-language assessment and therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder and/or in assessment and therapy for individuals with dysphagia and language disorders; Strong communication skills, dexterity, active listening, observational ability, collaboration, and organizational capacity.
