The Vetta Team understands the importance of teamwork and collaboration to achieve results that reach the entire globe – while **transforming each person's career.** **If you want to share your perspective for a more sustainable world, come be part of the Vetta Team!** **Responsibilities and attributes** **In this team, you will have the opportunity to:** * Define, design, and maintain corporate database architectures, ensuring scalability, availability, and security of information. * Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business needs. * Act in defining standards, best practices, and data governance for the entire organization. * Design storage, integration, and data processing solutions in on\-premises and cloud environments. * Evaluate and recommend database technologies, platforms, and tools according to project requirements. * Ensure the integrity, consistency, and quality of stored data. * Perform performance analyses and propose continuous improvements in queries, indexes, partitions, and data structures. * Define backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies. * Support development, data engineering, and infrastructure teams in implementing best practices for database usage. * Participate in the design of integration architectures between systems, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and analytical solutions. * Prepare technical documentation for architecture, data models, and processes related to database management. * Conduct capacity analyses and growth planning for data environments. * Act as a technical reference for multidisciplinary teams in initiatives related to data and corporate platforms. **Requirements and qualifications** **What we expect from you for this position:** * Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields * Oracle * SQL Server * PostgreSQL * MySQL * Non-Relational Databases: NoSQL; MongoDB; Cassandra; Redis; DynamoDB; * Data Modeling; * Conceptual, logical, and physical modeling; * Dimensional modeling (Star Schema and Snowflake); * Data Warehouse and Data Lake; * Advanced SQL; * Procedures, Functions, Triggers; * Query Optimization (Query Tuning); * Capacity Planning; * Monitoring and troubleshooting; * Azure SQL Database; * Azure PostgreSQL; * AWS RDS; * AWS Aurora; * Google Cloud SQL. **Additional information** **OUR BENEFITS:** Being a people-oriented company, we always seek to value our team.
