Position: Butcher Assistant Department: Kitchen / Butchery Job Purpose: Assist in the preparation, handling, cutting, portioning, and storage of meats used in restaurant production, ensuring food quality, department organization, and compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in cutting, cleaning, and portioning beef, pork, poultry, and seafood; * Sort and identify meats according to kitchen demand; * Properly store products in refrigerated chambers and freezers; * Assist in monitoring product expiration dates and food preservation; * Sanitize utensils, equipment, and the work environment; * Support receiving and inspection of goods; * Package, label, and organize products; * Follow company-established food quality and safety standards; * Correctly use mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE); * Assist the kitchen team whenever necessary. Requirements: * Completed elementary education; * Prior experience in butchery, industrial kitchen, or restaurant is desirable; * Basic knowledge of food handling and preservation; * Understanding of sanitary hygiene principles.
