Promoting educational initiatives and safety training Location: Manaus \- Amazonas, Brazil Job Family: General \& Administration Worker Type Reference: Regular \- Permanent Pay Rate Type: Salary Career Level: P2 Job ID: R\-52916\-2026 ### **Description \& Requirements** **OUR OPENINGS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES** **MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS** * Experience in a role related to this field * Technical education in Occupational Safety **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Participate in the development of the risk inventory; * Monitor the implementation of the action plan under the Risk Management Program (PGR); * Implement preventive measures according to the PGR’s risk classification and in the priority order established by Regulatory Standard No. 01 (NR\-01) \- General Provisions and Occupational Risk Management; * Conduct investigations into work-related accidents and occupational diseases, in accordance with the PGR; * Develop a work plan and monitor safety and health targets, indicators, and results; * Provide technical guidance on compliance with applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs) governing the organization’s activities; * Issue the Work Accident Report (CAT), investigate the accident site, inform the immediate supervisor of its cause, and take appropriate measures to prevent future accidents; * Prevent and advise employees regarding workplace hazards, verifying correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); * Prepare reports for Special Retirement, as required by social security legislation; * Manage distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), maintain optimal stock levels, and arrange purchases when necessary; * Prepare statistical reports on occupational safety to adjust preventive actions enabling both collective and individual protection; * Issue work orders and control PPE delivery, as well as Control Certificate (CA) tracking per NR\-06, identifying necessity and usage based on the activity performed; * Authorize Permit-to-Work (PT) and Job Hazard Analysis (APR); * Interface with PPE suppliers, ensuring compliance with required quality standards; * Populate the eSocial system; * Manage pest control and rodent control within company premises; * Coordinate Fire Brigade formation and train employees per established criteria; * Develop educational initiatives in occupational health and safety to raise employee awareness; * Maintain ongoing interaction with the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention and Harassment Prevention (CIPA); * Participate in CIPA meetings, providing advisory support and clarifying doubts when needed; * Organize the Internal Week for Accident Prevention (SIPAT) to raise employee awareness about accident prevention; * Promote campaigns, lectures, and other forms of training related to Occupational Safety and any additional topics requested; * Promote activities aimed at guiding, informing, and raising worker awareness regarding prevention of accidents and occupational diseases; * Immediately propose suspension of activities and adoption of corrective and/or control measures upon identifying work conditions or situations associated with serious and imminent risks to worker safety or health; * Monitor and participate in activities under the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO); * Ensure industrial operations comply with applicable environmental legislation, considering environmental impact and/or resulting risks.
