




Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for promoting the physical integrity and health of workers by implementing and monitoring occupational safety and health regulations. Develops and implements a safety culture Promote the preservation of workers' physical integrity and health through the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of occupational safety and health regulations, preventing occupational accidents and diseases, ensuring legal compliance and mitigation of labor, social security, and civil risks. **Responsibilities** * Contribute to managing occupational safety activities to comply with current legislation and ensure satisfactory working conditions affecting a significant number of employees. * Contribute to developing, reviewing, and implementing safety procedures and culture. * Monitor corrective and preventive actions arising from events recorded in the Benchmark Gensuite system. * Implement and monitor actions of the PGR (Risk Management Program), as per NR 1; * Proactively monitor data and indicators in the Benchmark Gensuite system. Proactively contribute to shifting the current culture toward J2EE. * Perform data entry, updates, and monitoring in the Benchmark Gensuite system, including: incident registration and investigation, safety observation entries, EHS document upload and control, training records and updates, and management of corrective and preventive actions related to Health and Safety events. * Manage third-party documentation; compile Third-Party Man-Hours to support TRR metrics in the Benchmark Gensuite system. * Support third parties regarding required documentation / Analysis and follow-up of third-party documents / Data entry into control spreadsheets. * Coordinate and maintain updated EHS performance indicators on the Benchmark Gensuite platform. * Develop theoretical/practical materials for EHS training programs, including presentations, application procedures, and learning assessments, aiming at continuous capacity building for employees and third parties. * Conduct critical analysis of regulatory updates and applicability of requirements in the LEMA software; include requirements in the Benchmark Compliance Calendar. * Ensure compliance with global corporate procedures, as well as preparation for internal and external audits—including customer audits and ISO 14\.001 and 45\.001\. * Assist in developing regulatory training (NRs) and internal procedure training, according to the EHS Training Matrix. * Assist in investigating EHS-related events in the Benchmark system, per Element 13 (Incident Reporting and Investigation) of the Journey to Excellence. * Conduct inspections of EHS equipment and report deviations with corresponding non-conformance handling. * Lead EHS communication campaigns and awareness training, contributing to developing a safety and sustainability culture at the site. * Execute the EHS procurement workflow: supplier registration, requisition issuance, purchase order requests, and invoice receipt in SAP; * Manage the process for periodic medical examinations with the contracted clinic (schedule organization / group summoning / clinic follow\-up / support and coordination during examinations). * Apply technical knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene to the workplace—including machinery and equipment—to reduce or eliminate existing accident and health risks for employees. * Support Emergency Brigade management, meetings, and drills. * Monitor the site’s fire protection system, ensuring identification of non\-conformities and maintaining updated records and proper system functionality to meet regulatory authority, insurer, and emergency response requirements. * Advise the company on compliance with Ordinance No. 3\.214 of 06\.08\.78 and its Regulatory Standards (NRs), ensuring full compliance and avoiding penalties during inspections by the Regional Labor Office. * Define technical specifications for personal protective equipment (PPE) used at the site and maintain the updated PPE catalog. * Recommend and assist in implementing new processes, specifying aspects to be observed for operational preservation and safety. * Support the operations team with lectures, training, and workshops related to Safety, aiming to improve area processes; * Conduct elections, organize, and train Internal Accident Prevention Committees (CIPA), and participate in monthly meetings. * Manage CIPA and provide ongoing advisory support, leading associated processes; * Plan and support execution of SIPAT or EHS Week, aligned with corporate guidelines and regulatory standards; * Conduct inspections of EHS equipment and report deviations with corresponding non-conformance handling; * Recommend improvements across the entire site when safety opportunities are identified. * Conduct periodic inspections of company facilities to identify/correct unsafe working conditions and direct actions. * Work on implementing the site’s safety culture. * Plan and conduct regulatory training (NRs) and internal procedure training, per the EHS Training Matrix. * Assist in reviewing and training personnel involved in the PAE – Unit Emergency Action Plan, ensuring compliance with Element 12 (Emergency Preparedness and Response) of the Journey to Excellence. * Monthly organization of observation form collection and concern reports, as well as management of the Action Tracking System in Benchmark. * Development and review of internal EHS procedures. * Ensure compliance with global corporate procedures, as well as preparation for internal and external audits—including customer audits and ISO 45\.001. * Manage Health/Social Security Programs, such as PGR and LTCAT. * Enter and update third-party and employee information in the Senior/Access Control system (ASO/Onboarding/Registration). **Knowledge** * Technical: Occupational Safety (mandatory) * Civil Firefighter (desirable) * Prior experience as an Occupational Safety Technician (mandatory) **Skills** * Demonstrates teamwork by collaborating with others;
