




Job Summary: Develop, supervise, and ensure the effectiveness of clinical standards and ABA interventions, promoting service quality and team training. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise clinical standards and ABA interventions **MISSION:** Develop, supervise, and ensure the effectiveness of clinical standards and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-based interventions at Jano Saúde, promoting service quality, clinical team training, and adherence to evidence-based best practices. Also serves as a facilitator for care coordination and integration with families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Initial Engagement/Contact with the Learner, Family, School, and Multidisciplinary Team** * Conduct initial engagement with families and neurodiverse individuals, actively listening to and validating concerns and expectations to align them with the proposed intervention. * Collect and select information regarding the individual’s and family’s history, as well as data from multidisciplinary teams and schools, to inform intervention planning. * Clarify any questions the family, school, or multidisciplinary team may have about the intervention. **Behavioral Assessment and Development of Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP)** * Plan and conduct repertoire, developmental, and quality-of-life assessments. * Plan and conduct functional assessments. * Draft assessment reports and protocols, as well as individualized skill-teaching programs or procedures, and behavior-problem prevention and reduction strategies based on function. * Conduct repertoire reassessment every 4 months. * Conduct repertoire, developmental, and quality-of-life reassessment annually. * Determine the client’s treatment schedule and location. **Intervention** * Develop the learner’s individualized intervention plan (ITP). * Assist in developing instructional materials (programs and procedure descriptions) and data-recording sheets required for intervention implementation. * Supervise a minimum of 10% of the intervention hours, distributed between direct and indirect supervision. * Evaluate behavioral progress during intervention through analysis of systematically collected data and/or direct observation (in the learner’s presence and absence). * Prepare monthly progress reports for health insurance providers when required. * Monitor transition plans between teams, discharge, or termination of services for the learner. * Draft documents such as meeting agendas and minutes for meetings held with families and the team. * Modify or discontinue services based on risk-benefit evaluation of continuing the intervention or replacing it with alternative practices, with formal documentation in the learner’s clinical record/treatment form. **Coordination, Monitoring, and Training** * Evaluate and provide performance feedback to the behavioral intervention team and family members regarding implementation of procedures designed for the learner. * Provide parental guidance and training. * Coordinate, guide, and train the intervention team, family members, caregivers, and other significant individuals to implement designated programs and procedures, both in the learner’s presence and absence. * Communicate and provide training to the care coordination team when necessary. **EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with an active psychology council registration. * Completed postgraduate program in Applied Behavior Analysis for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). * Master’s or doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis or fields related to atypical development (preferred). * Certification in aggressive crisis management procedures (preferred). **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:** * Prior experience as an ABA Supervisor for over 1 year.
