Conducting safety inspections and mandatory OHS training We are seeking a **Senior Occupational Safety Technician** for on-site work, integrated into the **Occupational Health and Safety Department (SESMT)** of a small-scale industrial company employing approximately 200 staff members. The role is responsible for ensuring OHS process management at the industrial plant, guaranteeing compliance with current legislation, implementation of legally required procedures, and promotion of a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure legal compliance in OHS, monitoring services provided by the OHS clinic. * Implement, monitor, and update the **RMP – Risk Management Program**; * Support and monitor the **PCMSO – Occupational Health Monitoring Program**, interfacing with medical and occupational clinical departments; * Conduct routine safety inspections across production areas, identifying hazards and proposing improvements; * Monitor investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing technical reports and action plans; * Supervise proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), advising staff and operational leaders; * Manage PPE distribution, recordkeeping, and administration—including documentation, instructions, and training; * Develop and deliver mandatory OHS training (e.g., onboarding, refresher courses, and competency training as stipulated in regulatory standards); * Conduct Daily Safety Dialogues (DSD) and internal prevention campaigns; * Provide technical support to leadership in analyzing process changes, layout modifications, machinery, and equipment; * Maintain direct coordination with Human Resources, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering departments; Employment Type: Permanent CLT contract Compensation: Starting from R$3.000,00 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance
