This professional prevents occupational accidents and diseases, develops and implements safety policies and practices, and promotes training and awareness among employees. * Responsibilities: * Conducts regular facility inspections to identify hazards and propose improvements; * Designs and implements safety programs aimed at reducing accidents and promoting occupational health; * Delivers safety training sessions and lectures, engaging all employees in a prevention-oriented culture; * Prepares safety incident reports, incorporating statistics and accident analyses; * Collaborates with other departments, providing guidance on safety regulations and responding to related inquiries; * Monitors and ensures compliance with occupational safety legislation and standards; * Supports accident investigations by analyzing root causes and proposing corrective actions; * Supervises and mentors interns or other safety personnel, fostering a learning and development environment. * Qualifications: * In-depth knowledge of occupational safety standards and current legislation; * Proficiency in risk analysis and proactive solutions for prevention; * Excellent communication and presentation skills for training and guidance; * Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment; * Familiarity with occupational safety analysis and management tools. * Educational qualifications: * Technical qualification in Occupational Safety or related fields; * Certification in first aid and fire-fighting techniques. * Professional experience: * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in industrial or service environments; * Experience preparing technical reports and assessments is a plus; * Experience in roles requiring interaction with diverse teams and leadership responsibilities. * KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * Practical knowledge of hazard identification and application of accident prevention techniques; * Familiarity with safety management tools and related software; * Problem-solving ability and sound decision-making in high-risk situations.
