Negotiation with suppliers and updating of price database An engineering and construction management company in Santo André is seeking a Budget Engineer. **Responsibilities:** Prepare budgets for civil construction and building installations. Conduct quantity takeoffs based on drawings, descriptive specifications, and technical scopes. Analyze civil, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, HVAC, fire prevention and suppression, and other complementary disciplines. Develop direct and indirect cost compositions, considering BDI (Burden, Profit, and Indirect Costs), social charges, and labor laws. Obtain quotations from suppliers and contractors, negotiating delivery schedules and commercial terms. Equalize technical and commercial proposals. Support risk analysis, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial conditions of budgets. Prepare budget spreadsheets, technical and commercial proposals. Maintain the price database updated according to market practices and values. Previous experience as a Cost Engineer, Budget Analyst, Budget Planning Specialist, or Project Engineer may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this position. Bachelor's degree required.
