Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer for Level 2 support, focused on maintenance, stability, and evolution of systems, data, and APIs in highly critical environments. Team collaboration for rapid resolution of critical issues Our client is a Brazilian technology company specializing in data analytics and compliance solutions. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our **Level 2 Support** team, ensuring continuous maintenance, stability, and evolution of our systems, data, and APIs. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in highly critical environments and strong skills in handling asynchronous libraries to ensure high system performance. The candidate must be available for full-time commitment during business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM). All work will be conducted remotely (home office), using the candidate’s own equipment and internet connection (minimum 300 Mbps download and 130 Mbps upload). Access to company resources will be provided via a monitored and standardized Linux (Ubuntu) virtual machine (VM) for the entire development team, equipped with top-tier computing resources for individual use. Access will be granted by the company through dedicated credentials via VPN. **Responsibilities:** * Use ITSM tools to track and resolve service tickets. * Provide support and maintenance for backend systems in production, resolving incidents and ensuring service continuity. * Ensure all identified incidents are resolved promptly. * Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and failures in systems, data sources, and APIs. * Work with Web Crawlers. * Adopt and promote best software development practices, ensuring clean, efficient, and sustainable code. * Implement code improvements and optimizations targeting performance, scalability, and security. * Analyze logs and error metrics to identify root causes of issues. * Collaborate with other teams to ensure rapid resolution of critical issues. * Work integrally with the team, contributing positively to the work environment and project success. * Organize, prioritize tasks, and manage delivery expectations within the development team. * Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities, proposing solutions that optimize development and implementation of new features. * Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to new tools, technologies, and changing requirements—especially in a dynamic environment. * Interact with internal departments and clients whenever necessary. Requirements: **Requirements:** * Minimum of 10 years of solid backend development experience with PHP/Laravel and JavaScript/Node.js/Vue.js. * Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API integrations. * Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB). * Experience with Web Crawlers. * Proficiency and active use of Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development (usage of these tools is mandatory at the company and is an integral part of development processes, problem resolution, and code optimization). * In-depth knowledge of asynchronous call libraries such as Guzzle or ReactPHP to optimize inter-service communication. * Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git. * Understanding of web security practices and performance optimization. * Ability to work collaboratively. * Excellent skills in solving complex problems and attention to detail. * Prior experience in highly critical environments and high-volume data settings. **Skills:** * Empathy: Ability to understand others’ needs. * Strong communication and teamwork: Communicate clearly and collaboratively to work effectively in groups. * Flexibility: Adapt quickly to unexpected situations or different scenarios. * Resilience: Withstand pressure and adversity. * Time management: Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards. * Strong analytical ability and problem-solving capacity: Analyze complex data and situations to solve problems efficiently. * Proactivity in pursuing continuous improvement: Always remain attentive to opportunities for innovation and process enhancement. * Creativity: Propose original solutions to challenges. * Commitment to deadlines and delivery quality: Assume more rigorous commitments regarding timelines and quality standards, responsibly managing multiple deliverables. * Collaboration: Work collaboratively across different departments. \- * Holistic vision: Broad understanding of processes and projects to comprehend the impact of one’s actions on the whole and make more strategic decisions.
