Job Summary: As a Logistics Assistant, you will ensure accurate supply replenishment and movement by organizing, storing, and controlling inventory. Key Highlights: 1. Driving a vehicle for transportation between facilities As a Logistics Assistant at Grupo FIT, you’ll be the pit crew behind the scenes—ensuring supplies are replenished and moved with the precision of a pit stop. Your work is vital to keeping the "engine" of our facilities running smoothly, never stalling due to lack of fuel (supplies). Your main responsibilities on the grid include: Goods Check\-in: Verify invoices and purchase orders, rigorously inspecting incoming products’ quality and quantity at our warehouse. Storage Strategy (FIFO): Organize and store supplies in appropriate locations—including dry storage and cold rooms—following hygiene standards and ensuring first-in, first-out rotation. Performance Control (Inventory): Support daily and weekly inventory counts to maintain full accuracy between physical stock and system records. Loss Prevention: Monitor expiration dates and identify items nearing expiry, promptly alerting the team to prevent any waste on the track. Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain impeccable organization and cleanliness across storage areas, shelves, and equipment, upholding hygiene standards. Inter-terminal Logistics and Replenishment: Drive company vehicles to transport and deliver goods between facilities, ensuring product integrity and compliance with traffic regulations. Fleet Management: Track vehicle mileage, refueling, and cleaning, and record all movements in the fleet management system.
