LOGISTICS ANALYST (INVENTORY)

Description

Job Summary: The professional will ensure inventory accuracy, integrity, and control levels in distribution centers (DCs) or industrial plants, mitigate stockouts, losses, and damages, and promote continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure inventory accuracy and control in distribution centers (DCs) or industrial plants. 2. Mitigate stockouts, losses, and damages by investigating deviations. 3. Promote continuous improvement of warehousing and material handling processes. Ensure inventory accuracy, integrity, and control levels in Distribution Centers (DCs) or industrial plants. The professional mitigates stockouts, losses, and damages by investigating deviations and promoting continuous improvement of warehousing and material handling processes. * Plan, schedule, and execute rotating (cyclic) and full inventories. * Audit physical stock balances and reconcile them with system-recorded inventory. * Investigate and analyze discrepancies (shortages and overages) using root cause analysis methodologies. * Monitor daily transactions for goods receipt, storage, transfers, and dispatch. * Audit operational processes for receiving, picking, and shipping to identify process failures causing inventory discrepancies. * Manage control of damaged goods, expiry dates, obsolete items, and scrap. * Track and report critical departmental KPIs, such as: Inventory Accuracy, Discrepancy Rate, Stockout Rate, Inventory Turnover, and Service Level. * Develop and maintain management dashboards for operational visibility. * Support the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Propose action plans to correct operational failures and mitigate risks of losses and discrepancies.
