Requirements: We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support on-premises environments, initially focusing on SQL Server, with responsibilities including process monitoring, failure analysis, performance improvement, and incident management. Over time, this professional will support the cloud migration process, gradually transitioning to Azure and Databricks tools while contributing to the modernization of the data architecture. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Support on-premises data environments and pipelines. * Monitor and analyze data ingestion and transformation processes. * Implement fault corrections and propose performance improvements. * Manage and resolve incidents proactively to prevent recurrence. * Participate in ad-hoc projects using SQL Server and support workload migration to cloud environments (Azure). * Contribute to technical documentation and cross-team alignment. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Solid experience supporting data pipelines and environments. * Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server (current priority for this role). * Familiarity with Azure platform tools and pipelines, including: + Azure Data Factory + Azure Pipelines + Azure DevOps + Databricks * Experience with Git for version control and code management. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of Power BI for data analysis and visualization. * Experience with SAS and Teradata environments. * Hands-on experience with data migration from on-premises to cloud.
