We seek a Senior Back\-End Developer to contribute to building and evolving the applications supporting these operations, helping shape architectural decisions, code quality, and technical excellence. **Job Mission** ------------------- Contribute to the development, evolution, and maintenance of OneBox’s Back\-End solutions by building robust, secure, and scalable systems. The candidate will serve as a technical reference for the team, contributing to architecture definition, technical decision-making, resolution of complex problems, and continuous improvement of development standards. **Job Responsibilities** ------------------------------ * Define, evolve, and document the architecture of Back\-End applications. * Develop high-complexity features while ensuring quality, security, and performance. * Build and evolve scalable and sustainable REST APIs. * Make technical decisions and evaluate the impact of adopted solutions. * Conduct code reviews and contribute to defining and evolving the team’s technical standards. * Support investigation and diagnosis of incidents and complex production issues. * Identify, prioritize, and act to reduce technical debt. * Provide technical guidance to less experienced developers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing. * Contribute to estimations, planning, and technical definition of deliverables. * Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Database, Front\-End, and Product teams. * Ensure security best practices in development and handling of sensitive data. * Develop and maintain unit and integration tests. * Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD processes and application deployment. **Performance Indicators** ----------------------------- * Quality, stability, and maintainability of developed solutions. * Improvement in coverage and quality of automated tests. * Reduction of recurring incidents and production issues. * Performance and availability of applications and APIs. * On-time delivery and predictability of deliverables. * Continuous reduction and management of technical debt. * Quality of code reviews and adherence to defined technical standards. * Contribution to technical evolution and development of other team members. **Requirements** -------------- * Solid professional experience in Back\-End development, preferably 5 years or more. * Advanced experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript. * Knowledge of TypeScript or proven ability to adopt the technology. * Experience developing and evolving REST APIs. * Proficiency in asynchronous programming, including Promises, async/await, and error handling. * Experience with relational databases, especially Oracle and/or PostgreSQL. * Proficiency in SQL, including queries, joins, stored procedures, indexes, and execution plan analysis. * Experience with transactions, concurrency, data integrity, and consistency. * Knowledge of modular architecture, separation of concerns, and design patterns. * Experience with Git and branch-based workflows and merge requests. * Knowledge of authentication and authorization, including JWT, roles, and permissions. * Familiarity with application security practices and prevention of top OWASP vulnerabilities. * Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman or Insomnia. * Experience with unit and integration testing. * Knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose. * Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment processes. * Ability to analyze logs, investigate issues, and diagnose complex production incidents. * Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. **Required Qualifications** ----------------------------- * Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable, scalable technical solutions. * Analytical mindset and capability to investigate and resolve complex problems. * Systemic vision to assess technical and business impacts of architectural decisions. * Ability to operate autonomously in highly complex scenarios. * Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse areas and specialties. * Experience conducting code reviews and defining technical standards. * Ability to guide and develop other professionals technically. * Commitment to quality, security, performance, and continuous solution improvement. **Desired Qualifications** ---------------------------- * Experience with ticketing systems, payments, cards, or urban mobility. * Experience with cryptography, digital signatures, and key management. * Knowledge of MIFARE, smartcards, SAM, or PC/SC. * Experience with message queues, caching, and asynchronous processing, such as Redis or RabbitMQ. * Knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI. * Experience with Airflow, Node\-RED, or integration tools. * Knowledge of Kubernetes, Rancher, or k0s. * Experience with observability, metrics, and monitoring. * Experience with high-availability systems or large-scale transactional systems.
