Senior Analytics Engineer

Description

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to develop, evolve, and maintain analytical data pipelines in a cloud-based data environment. The professional will be responsible for building and maintaining data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes, ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability of information consumed by business units and analytics teams. **Responsibilities and duties** You will work with Python and Spark for large-scale data processing, using Airflow as the orchestration tool. You will be responsible for extraction and integration pipelines on AWS, operating in distributed environments with Kubernetes and EMR. For storage and the analytical layer, you will work with SQL, S3, and Trino, supporting analytical data modeling and querying. You will also participate in defining and maintaining data infrastructure using Terraform, supported by our proprietary Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) framework. The professional will collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams, performing Spark job tuning and optimization, pipeline versioning and standardization, and contributing best practices for observability, governance, and platform scalability. **Requirements and qualifications** * Solid experience developing data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, and delivery). * Proficiency in **Python** for data processing. * Experience with **Spark** for large-scale processing. * Hands-on experience with **Airflow** for workflow orchestration. * Experience with data services on **AWS**, especially **S3 and EMR**. * Experience with distributed environments and containerization using **Kubernetes**. * Strong command of **SQL** for analytical data modeling and querying. * Experience with distributed query engines such as **Trino**. * Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using **Terraform**. * Experience with code versioning (Git). * Experience with Spark job optimization and tuning. * Knowledge of best practices for data governance, observability, and data quality. **Additional information** * Competitive compensation based on experience; * Opportunities for career growth and participation in strategic projects; * Dynamic and challenging work environment; * Opportunity to work at a rapidly expanding company in the market.
