Verity is looking for new talents! We are a digital solutions accelerator and are seeking a **Senior QA** to join this journey. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of solutions developed by the Squad, acting from requirements refinement through validation of deliveries in production environments. They will play a key role in preventing defects, structuring test scenarios, and continuously improving quality processes. Check out the experience and knowledge required to accelerate and transform with us: **Responsibilities and Duties** * Actively participate in agile ceremonies, refinements, and technical discussions, contributing to defining acceptance criteria. * Analyze functional and technical requirements, identifying risks, impacts, and critical scenarios for validation. * Plan, design, and execute functional, regression, integrated, and exploratory test cases. * Validate frontend and backend applications, as well as system integrations. * Perform API and service testing, considering REST, SOAP, message queues, and other architectural components. * Log, document, and track defects, supporting the team in root-cause analysis and correction prioritization. * Support log and technical evidence analysis to identify failures and inconsistencies. * Conduct delivery acceptance testing, ensuring adherence to acceptance criteria and quality standards defined by Porto. * Structure test evidence and support maintenance of documentation for validated scenarios. * Contribute to evolving the Squad’s test strategy by proposing improvements to processes, tools, and quality metrics. * Support implementation and evolution of automated tests, where applicable. * Collaborate closely with Developers, Technical Leaders, Functional Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure reliable and sustainable deliveries. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Technology or related fields. * Experience in planning, designing, and executing software testing. * Knowledge of functional, regression, integrated, and exploratory testing. * Experience validating APIs using tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or similar. * Knowledge of integration protocols and technologies, including HTTP/HTTPS, REST, and SOAP. * Basic database and SQL query knowledge for data validation. * Familiarity with backlog management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar. * Experience working in teams using agile methodologies. * Strong analytical ability for problem investigation and log analysis. * Organizational skills for documenting test scenarios, evidence, and results. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience automating API and web application tests. * Knowledge of tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or similar. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. * Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Experience with performance, load, or availability testing. * Understanding of microservices architecture. * Experience in projects involving customer service platforms, chatbots, or digital channel integrations. * Familiarity with applications built using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. * Key Challenges of the Role * Ensure quality of deliveries in mission-critical systems supporting customer service operations. * Anticipate risks and reduce production failures. * Validate complex scenarios involving integrations across multiple systems and platforms. * Support the Squad’s quality maturity growth by promoting a preventive — not just corrective — mindset. * Balance delivery speed with traceability, security, and reliability of solutions. **Additional Information** **Here, we are human, we are digital, we are Verity!** Everything we do is grounded in our 8 POWER PRINCIPLES: * Love technology; * Take on major responsibilities; * Cultivate trust-based relationships through transparency; * Pay attention and be guided by customer needs and experience; * Tackle challenges with agility; * Collaborate across people and teams; * Encourage conscious autonomy; * Achieve results consciously.
