Job Summary: An Occupational Therapist promotes patient autonomy and functionality through assessments and therapeutic interventions, contributing to holistic development and quality of life. Promote patient autonomy, independence, and functionality through occupational therapy assessment, planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions, considering sensory, motor, cognitive, behavioral, and daily living activity aspects, thereby contributing to holistic development and quality of life. Ensure safe, humanized, and evidence-based care. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Adhere to institutional protocols and guidelines. Support functional progression and patient autonomy. Collaborate integrally with the multidisciplinary team. Conduct occupational therapy assessments and identify patients' functional needs. Develop and implement the Individualized Therapeutic Plan (ITP). Design and deliver interventions targeting occupational performance, sensory integration, motor coordination, autonomy, and activities of daily living. Monitor clinical progress and revise therapeutic strategies as needed. Document sessions, progress notes, and clinical decisions in medical records. Prepare technical reports and expert opinions within established deadlines. Guide family members, caregivers, and schools on strategies for treatment continuity. Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions with the multidisciplinary team. Comply with institutional protocols, ethical standards, technical guidelines, and biosafety requirements. Keep therapeutic materials organized and in appropriate working condition. Participate in training programs and continuing education activities provided by the institution. **Education** Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Active registration with CREFITO. **Desirable** Postgraduate studies in Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopment, Pediatric Rehabilitation, or related fields. Courses or training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Experience working with patients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
