We are looking for an HSE Engineer to administer occupational health, safety, and environmental activities for wind power projects, proposing accident prevention strategies and measures, supporting the establishment of a safety culture, as well as engaging in environmental activities.
**Work Location:** Jacobina/BA, with readiness for mobilization to other projects across Northeast Brazil.
**Responsibilities:**
Support the development of a safety culture among project teams;
Issue technical reports and conduct periodic safety and environmental audits;
Identify and monitor legal requirements related to Health, Safety, Environment, and Social Responsibility;
Participate in internal and external certification audits for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001;
Coordinate HSE meetings for projects, direct demands and responsibilities across all involved departments, and provide necessary support;
Guide and participate in Goldwind’s and clients’ safety and environmental committees for projects;
Develop/implement inspection schedules and campaigns;
Collaborate with local communities, contractors, and partners to develop social initiatives for more sustainable and strategic operations;
Review procedures, technical instructions, operational records, reports, and programs as required by clients;
Manage HSE for contractors and subcontractors;
Provide support and supervision for training planning for internal employees and contractors;
Manage incidents and investigate accidents using Goldwind’s methodology and those of respective clients.
Support the development of risk analyses for activities and other programs required for projects.
**Requirements:**
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering;
Specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering;
Active CREA registration;
Intermediate English proficiency. Must be able to guide foreign employees on HSE matters at construction sites;
Experience in the wind power sector and environmental activities in projects. Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications;
Knowledge of NRs 10, 35, 33, 23, and 18\.
