Your mission will be to develop systems and deliver the best software solutions for Unifique. **This and all other positions advertised are open to persons with disabilities (PwD).** **Responsibilities and duties** * Supervise, guide, and lead a team of software engineers, managing task distribution, evaluating performance, and promoting professional development of team members. * Establish and maintain system architecture and coding standards, ensuring adopted engineering practices are most suitable for current projects. * Actively participate in software development, disseminating and defining technical development standards. * Coordinate and manage software development projects from conception through delivery, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations. * Resolve complex engineering problems by providing innovative and efficient technical solutions through collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and distinct system projects. * Facilitate communication between the development team and other organizational areas, ensuring project objectives align with business needs. * Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in software development, and share and apply them within the team. * Apply and promote trends aligned with Unifique’s system architecture, seeking greater efficiency in IT resource utilization. * Contribute to the strategic planning of the IT department, helping define long-term technical goals and strategies to achieve them. * Develop team members’ technical and leadership skills through mentoring, training, and continuous feedback. * Understand Unifique’s business to propose high-value-added technical solutions for the company. **Requirements and qualifications** **Skills:** Knowledge of common frameworks and libraries used in system development. Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design concepts. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience in system development. Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management. Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of system architecture and modeling (Domain-Driven Design, Microservices, Event-Driven Design). **Education:** Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree and/or specialization in a related field. **Additional information** **Working hours:** 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:12 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
