Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Mid-to-Senior Motion Designer to transform ideas into fluid and impactful animations, applying AI in visual and audiovisual creation. Key Highlights: 1. Work on diverse projects for brands, agencies, and cultural institutions. 2. Opportunity to use AI to accelerate processes and expand creative possibilities. 3. Focus on creating animations with intention, fluidity, and visual impact. GSim Brasil is a communications company with an audiovisual DNA and nearly two decades of experience in advertising, institutional content, branded content, presentations, social media, cultural projects, and cross-platform communication. We are looking for a Mid-to-Senior Motion Designer with high technical and creative proficiency, advanced mastery of After Effects, proficiency in Photoshop, an up-to-date portfolio, a consistent reel, and genuine interest in AI tools applied to visual and audiovisual creation. We seek someone with a refined eye, command of visual language, sense of rhythm, and the ability to transform ideas, layouts, scripts, and references into professionally finished animations. Someone who does not merely animate elements on screen but constructs movement with intention, fluidity, visual impact, and narrative clarity. GSim Brasil works on projects of varied styles for brands, agencies, institutions, and cultural initiatives. Therefore, we seek a versatile, creative, organized, and collaborative professional capable of navigating between institutional pieces, commercials, animated presentations, social media videos, openings, letterings, bumpers, infographics, motion identities, and AI-assisted content. Responsibilities: \- Create high-level animations for institutional videos, commercials, presentations, social media, branded content, podcasts, campaigns, and special projects. \- Develop motion graphics, animated letterings, bumpers, openings, transitions, infographics, screens, title cards, visual elements, and motion identities. \- Work from scripts, layouts, visual references, presentations, storyboards, or briefs still under development. \- Propose solutions regarding visual language, rhythm, motion, composition, and finishing. \- Animate pieces with fluidity, narrative intention, and technical quality. \- Create, process, cut, composite, and adapt images in Photoshop for use in animations. \- Adapt animations for different formats, platforms, and aspect ratios. \- Collaborate with designers, editors, creative directors, producers, and account teams. \- Organize projects, assets, versions, renders, and deliveries clearly. \- Implement revisions based on internal and client feedback. \- Use AI tools to accelerate workflows, generate references, create visual elements, test creative directions, and expand production possibilities. \- Stay updated on trends in visual language, motion design, generative design, AI-powered video, and digital communication. Requirements: Consistent experience in motion design, animation, or audiovisual post-production. Advanced proficiency in After Effects. Proficiency in Photoshop for image creation, processing, compositing, and preparation for animation. Up-to-date portfolio, consistent reel, or recent links to motion work. Excellent understanding of rhythm, composition, timing, transitions, visual hierarchy, and finishing. Ability to animate with intention—not merely apply presets. Experience with institutional videos, commercials, social media, presentations, campaigns, or brand content. Strong aesthetic sensitivity and visual repertoire. Ability to propose creative directions based on references, layouts, or open-ended briefs. Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, versions, and revisions. Agility to produce under dynamic demands without compromising quality. Strong communication skills to clarify doubts, justify creative decisions, and interpret feedback. Ability to collaborate with designers, editors, and creative directors. Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools applied to visual and audiovisual creation. Desirable: Mastery of advanced After Effects plugins. Knowledge of expressions. Experience with advanced 2D animation. Experience with character animation. Familiarity with Cinema 4D, Blender, or 3D animation. Experience with commercial and institutional presentation animation. Experience with advertising videos, branded content, and digital campaigns. Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve. Knowledge of sound design for motion. Experience with tools such as Runway, Midjourney, Firefly, Leonardo AI, Pika, Kling, Luma, Magnific, Topaz, ComfyUI, or similar. Ability to develop original visual language from scratch based on an idea. Benefits: Opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team. Competitive salary with attractive commissions tied to sales achievements. Professional development program. Relaxed and welcoming work environment. Learning incentives, including access to courses and certifications. Additional Information: Work model: This position may be fully remote, with online meetings, team alignment sessions, and organized remote deliveries. Hybrid models or occasional in-person meetings may also be considered, depending on the candidate’s location, project profile, and agreed-upon hiring arrangement. More important than physical presence in the office is autonomy, organization, strong communication, adherence to deadlines, and the ability to deliver animations with a high level of polish. Important: For this role, evaluation will focus primarily on the reel, portfolio, technical quality of past work, visual repertoire, creativity, and execution capability. Submission of an up-to-date portfolio and reel is mandatory to participate in the selection process.
