Join our team. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Capture high-quality images and audio of events, people, and locations relevant to news stories and reports; * Work closely with reporters and producers to plan and capture footage that complements storytelling; * Organize and prepare necessary equipment for daily tasks; * Operate professional camera equipment, including video cameras, tripods, gimbals, microphones, and other required accessories; * Perform preliminary editing of captured video material, when necessary, to create sequences and ready-to-air packages; * Maintain and safeguard the integrity and preservation of equipment under your responsibility; * Apply journalistic ethics and standards daily; * Stay updated on current news issues and topics; * Keep abreast of trends and advancements in audiovisual recording and editing technology; * Meet strict deadlines to ensure video material is ready for broadcast within the established schedule; * Work closely with the production team, reporters, video editors, and other news professionals to ensure content remains relevant and of high quality. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Degree in Journalism, Communications, Cinema, or related fields; * Driver’s license category B; * Professional registration in the relevant category; * Prior experience as a cinematographic reporter or in similar roles; * Solid knowledge of operating professional video cameras, audio equipment, and audiovisual capture techniques; * Basic video editing skills and familiarity with editing software are desirable; * Drone operation certification and aerial filming techniques are desirable; * Strong teamwork and effective communication skills with other members of the production team; * Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines; * Availability to work irregular hours and at various locations, including live coverage and travel. **Additional Information** **The application deadline for internal candidates is March 22, 2026\.** RBS is made up of people.
