You will also receive close support from the Forvis Mazars team, ensuring alignment throughout your engagement. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Support and execute accounting reconciliations with a focus on banking accounting, ensuring compliance with COSIF regulations; * Perform journal entries and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy of information; * Review and control accounting provisions, including monitoring balances and account composition; * Participate in monthly financial closing routines, ensuring adherence to deadlines and regulatory compliance; * Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with standards applicable to financial institutions; * Contribute to addressing requirements from the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN), regulatory reporting, and internal controls; * Support daily operational routines of the accounting department, ensuring alignment with internal and regulatory standards; * Work in an organized and proactive manner, with strong time management and a focus on quality and accuracy of deliverables. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences; * Prior experience as an Accounting Analyst, with exposure to financial closing and reconciliations; * Knowledge of banking accounting, with experience or familiarity with COSIF and Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) regulations; * Experience in analyzing and reconciling balance sheet accounts; * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication; Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
