Serve as the primary point of contact with the client **Location:** Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil **Job ID:** R0120407 **Date Posted:** 2026\-03\-27 **Company Name:** HITACHI ENERGY BRASIL LTDA. **Profession (Job Category):** Engineering \& Science **Job Schedule:** Full time **Remote:** No **Job Description:** **The Opportunity:** Lead the execution of medium-sized projects and ensure that all related activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, project scope, human and material resources, contract specifications, quality standards, health requirements, risk mitigation, communication, safety and environmental standards, project integration, cost/profitability targets, and established timelines—aiming to achieve financial results and customer satisfaction while contributing to business continuity. **How You Will Make an Impact:** * Lead the project team by defining guidelines, assigning tasks, motivating team members, and monitoring performance. * Plan, monitor, and control scope, schedule, resources, risks, and opportunities to ensure efficient execution. * Manage project finances—including costs, billing, cash flow, and margins—with the objective of maximizing cash flow. * Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices in quality, safety, health, and environmental management. * Serve as the primary point of contact with the client, maintaining close relationships and effective communication with stakeholders. * Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement of materials and services, supporting negotiations and ensuring qualified suppliers. * Monitor performance of critical suppliers, conducting inspections and assessing impacts on the schedule. * Manage contracts and scope changes, pursuing new opportunities and mitigating financial and operational risks. * Report project progress and results clearly and strategically to all stakeholders. * Ensure formal project closure in accordance with contractual agreements, securing formal project acceptance, contract closure, and client recognition. * Proactively address customer expectations and ensure project development proceeds as planned—including agreement on deliverables and timely payments. * Negotiate project scope changes—including impact assessments—and pursue additional sales to improve margins and reduce exposure-related risks. * Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering) * Advanced English proficiency * PMP certification (desirable) * Experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexities * Knowledge of the company’s business. **Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
