If you do not meet every requirement, or your experience is slightly different than what we have listed, we still encourage you to apply! **PROJECTS INTERN** **JOB SUMMARY** **The incumbent will assist the Projects Department in developing installation projects and monitor all stages of the process, including detailed design, fabrication, assembly, and commissioning of associated equipment.** **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** · Assist in the development and execution of multidisciplinary installation project plans. * Assist project managers in managing ongoing projects (cost control reports, physical progress tracking, CMS project closure, etc...) · Manage and issue quotation/purchase orders for ongoing projects, and support physical progress tracking for each approved project. · Receive materials and equipment, verifying deliveries against the Projects Department’s requirements, inspecting for potential damage, reviewing relevant documentation, and requesting technical inspections and analyses if required. · Request, receive, verify, and archive documents from contracted companies. · Assist in requesting necessary documentation from contracted companies to implement Safety Integration. · Maintain organization of technical files to ensure ease of access and keep them continuously updated. · Participate in task forces focused on quality, safety, production, and cost reduction improvements. · Draft tenders/scopes for small-scale projects under direct supervision, and provide field technical supervision support during project assembly. · Support preparation of capital cost control reports for ongoing projects. · Occasionally perform support activities in other departments to help achieve corporate objectives. · Participate in initiatives aimed at transforming the company’s existing culture—through actions and involvement in project teams and improvement groups—contributing to the success of these efforts, especially those related to Quality, Safety, Health, Organization, Cleanliness, Community, Communication, and Environment/Responsible Care; additionally, comply with departmental procedures and maintain files up-to-date as required.
