Job Summary: A professional responsible for serving customers, restocking and preparing merchandise, organizing the department, maintaining hygiene, and participating in internal training sessions. Maintenance of hygiene and participation in training sessions **Job Description:** * Restock merchandise on the counter whenever a product is sold; * Provide excellent customer service, address customer requests for products and inquiries, and recommend and promote products; * Prepare (cut, separate, etc.) products and package them according to departmental manual instructions; * Prepare and deliver requested products (weight, type, etc.) properly packaged and labeled, following the product code; * Store products in their respective cold chambers; * Daily removal of spoiled, unsightly, or expired merchandise, verifying expiration dates of displayed products; * Label products according to internal codes for the sales area and company directives; * Verify that products are properly labeled (price, origin, manufacturing date, expiration date, and composition); * Produce various department products, including baking, boiling, and frying; * Record daily the quantity of non-reusable merchandise remaining at store closing (leftovers/losses); * Place daily merchandise orders to the central production facility; * Daily verification of merchandise delivered by the central production facility against the delivery invoice; * Clean equipment, facilities, and utensils as needed; * Notify department leadership regarding the need for maintenance or repair of machinery, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems; * Dispose of non-reusable merchandise remaining at store closing into designated waste bins; * Participate in the company’s mentoring program, training, teaching, and transferring department activities and company policies to new employees; * Remove products from cold chambers for proper preparation.
