Description
Responsible for customer service in the FLV (fruits, vegetables, and greens) department, stocking the store's fruit, vegetable, and greens display counters, as well as for cleaning, organizing, and presenting the department, thereby contributing to food quality and customer satisfaction.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Provide direct customer service, performing tasks such as cutting, weighing, and delivering goods in accordance with company procedures;
* Stock merchandise in the sales area, ensuring strict adherence to the company's operational quality standards and guaranteeing that the full product range (variety) is available to customers;
* Remove merchandise from the sales area when presentation falls below the ideal quality standard or when products have expiration dates outside the required standard, following established exchange and disposal procedures;
* Ensure all items are clearly and accurately priced in the sales area, always aiming to facilitate customer understanding;
* Perform maintenance/cleaning of department tools and equipment according to health surveillance requirements, as well as cleaning of the sales area and storage area, keeping them clean and organized;
* Monitor and record temperatures of refrigerated and frozen display cases following the company's established procedure;
* Assist with receiving department merchandise as needed, respecting merchandise receipt and storage regulations;
* Prepare the department for store opening and closing—regarding stocking, pricing, product display, and storage—to ensure high-quality presentation while maintaining compliance with all regulations and procedures; Clean the FLV food handling area following the cleaning standards designated for the department; Comply with operational cutting standards and good hygiene and food handling practices; Handle and display products in the sales area.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed elementary education;
* Prior experience in the food retail sector (wholesale, hypermarkets, supermarkets, etc.) will be considered a plus;
