More than just vehicles travel our roads — here, we connect people and energize cargo transportation across some of the country’s most important economic corridors. **Responsibilities and Duties** As a **CCO OPERATOR**, you will be responsible for: Contributing to traffic fluidity and user safety through control of Highway Operations and services including Traffic Inspection, Vehicle Removal, and Pre\-Hospital Care, by activating operational resources via radio communication/telephone systems to respond to incidents according to procedures established in the CCO Operator Manual. Maintaining records of all Highway Operations incidents in the KCor system by entering required event-related information, supporting queries and reports, as well as transmitting information to other Concessionaire departments (Maintenance, Occupational Safety, Right\-of\-Way, etc.). Ensuring compliance with user response time standards by knowing the Concessionaire’s coverage areas, monitoring the location of available response resources, and optimizing logistics and resources. Contributing to compliance with traffic inspection route timing as defined in the PER (Highway Operation Program), through route control and GPS monitoring of patrol vehicles. Identifying highway incidents and monitoring ongoing/at-handled incidents (e.g., accidents, incidents, breakdowns, congestion, right\-of\-way issues, demonstrations, police incidents, construction signage, among others) through traffic flow monitoring using the CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) system. Providing users with information about highway traffic fluidity conditions by updating messages on Variable Message Signs (VMS) and transmitting information to Communications and 0800 Customer Service departments. Ensuring relevant incidents are promptly communicated to management teams, departments, and pertinent agencies within established timeframes and standards, through drafting and sending emails in accordance with the Communication Plan. Ensuring continuity and closure of ongoing incidents through shift handover procedures, reporting activated resources and actions taken, along with other necessary information.
