Join us to build a cleaner future! \#LI\-Onsite Role Summary We are seeking a Logistics Engineer to work on internal factory logistics, with a focus on logistics engineering, automation, layout design, process standardization, cost management, and project management. We seek an analytical, hands-on profile capable of leading projects from conception through implementation and operational stabilization. Responsibilities* Work on plant logistics engineering by developing, reviewing, and optimizing layouts, material flows, storage areas, inventories, and internal material handling systems—ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and flexibility to accommodate demand fluctuations. * Participate in defining and implementing logistics automation solutions—including AGVs, AMRs, tugger trains, WMS, RFID, and call-off systems—from technical feasibility studies through factory implementation. * Develop, review, and standardize logistics processes—including operational methods, line feeding, process governance, work instructions, and current documentation. * Standardize packaging—including dimensions, quantities, ergonomics, stacking, and logistical performance—to ensure alignment with storage, transportation, and production feeding requirements. * Collaborate with PCM (Planning and Materials Control) on material flow projects, supplier integration, milk-run systems, and feeding strategies—ensuring synchronization across inbound logistics, storage, and line consumption. * Manage end-to-end logistics projects—structuring business cases, conducting technical quotations and feasibility analyses, aligning with internal departments and global teams, overseeing implementation, and stabilizing KPIs. * Ensure control and optimization of logistics costs—monitoring variances, proposing technical solutions, and applying market benchmarking to maintain competitiveness. * Conduct flow analyses, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and continuous improvement initiatives—identifying bottlenecks, eliminating waste, and increasing productivity and accuracy. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, PCM, Suppliers, Production, Engineering, and global teams—ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and standards. * Physically monitor implementations on the shop floor (gemba), validating results, mitigating risks, and ensuring adherence to safety requirements and internal standards. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Logistics, Mechanical, Production, or related fields). * Experience in industrial logistics / manufacturing logistics. * Project management capability, with experience managing multiple stakeholders and interfaces. * Knowledge of logistics layout, material flow, packaging, warehousing, and internal material handling. * Experience with WMS and integrated systems (ERP/MES). * Advanced English proficiency for interaction with global teams.
