Operations Leader CL
Purpose of the Role
Distribute, train, and guide the team in operational activities across receiving, warehousing, picking, loading, shipping, and inventory management. Monitor daily scheduling, assess activity quality, control and organize operations within the assigned area, and intervene in processes when necessary. Monitor routines, support management in operational demands, keep the team informed about priorities and results, and ensure adherence to established procedures, standards, and targets.
Key Responsibilities
1 Conduct daily team meetings to assign tasks, clarify priorities, resolve questions, and monitor activity progress to ensure operational requirements are met.
2 Verify daily priorities by reviewing operational and/or production reports and supervisory instructions, informing the team and guiding execution according to plan.
3 Prepare daily reports on issues, incidents, points of attention, and KPIs, keeping management informed about activity progress and any deviations.
4 Monitor operational performance indicators, verify service levels, evaluate results, and propose improvement actions whenever necessary.
5 Manage overtime, time banks, and team attendance, checking absences and tardiness, preparing reports and justifications, contributing to reduced absenteeism and adherence to operational routines.
6 Conduct training and knowledge sharing, guiding the team on company processes, procedures, internal standards, and legal requirements, ensuring standardization and safety in task execution.
7 Monitor organization, cleanliness, and selective waste collection in the area, guiding employees on company standards and ensuring a suitable, compliant work environment.
8 Participate in daily meetings with coordination and other leaders to collaboratively define the day’s operational strategy and align cross-functional activities.
**Education & Qualifications:** Completed High School
**Required Experience:** Prior experience in this role and in logistics. Experience in people management.
**Desired Technical Knowledge:** Microsoft Office Suite. Basic English and Spanish.
