Focus on continuous improvement and automation **Logistics Supervisor** **Job Description:** Support industrial logistics as backoffice, primarily focusing on data management and reliability, and sustaining the department’s operational routines. The professional will be responsible for maintaining updated logistics information, controls, and communications; providing support for interactions with suppliers and internal departments; and contributing to operational fluidity during periods of increased demand. They will also support continuous improvement initiatives, especially in report automation, process standardization, and system integration. **On-site position.** **Job Responsibilities:** * Extracting, processing, and consolidating data from BI, MRP, and other systems, as well as internal controls—including updating indicators, operational reports, and managerial reports. * Managing logistics controls, such as NF (Notas Fiscais) requests, stock transfers, maritime transportation, and process discrepancies. * Follow-up with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding topics such as receipt and dispatch deadlines, emergency pickups, and non-conformance handling. * Managing emails and operational communication, including sending reports, indicators, dispatch plans, and relevant alerts. * Conducting logistics analyses and calculations, such as customer demand forecasting and coverage calculation. * Participating in meetings and operational routines, such as daily gemba walks at the docks and alignment sessions with other departments. * Supporting continuous improvements, process standardization, document organization, and audits when required. **Required Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or related fields. **Requirements:** **. Minimum of 3 to 5 years** of proven professional experience in Supply Chain. * Knowledge of logistics interaction processes (Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Customs, Transportation, etc.). * Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools. * Analytical, organized, and communicative profile. * Desired: Knowledge of data management systems (Power BI, Spotfire, Looker, etc). * English proficiency level (Intermediate): sufficient to understand essential content on concrete or abstract topics in complex texts, including technical discussions within one’s area of specialization. Communicate spontaneously and fluently without causing tension for either party.
