Logistics Assistant

Description

We are looking for a person to join our Logistics team. Come make a difference with us! **Responsibilities and duties** . Distribute imported volumes, evaluating and planning storage spaces together with the factory for optimal product allocation; . Monitor and analyze ship unloading operations to ensure they are executed as efficiently as possible; . Prepare cost budgets, considering market prices, to ensure costs align with actual market conditions; . Contract freight services, negotiating with carriers to secure the best possible cost for internal and external movements; . Track budgeted versus actual values, building monitoring indicators and corrective actions for variances, in order to control expenses; . Prepare and update inbound and outbound freight rates; . Schedule loading operations, conducting portfolio analysis and scheduling shipments; . Research new suppliers to optimize costs; **Requirements and qualifications** . Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Administration, or related fields; . Knowledge of logistics flow; . Experience in port operations and procedures; . Knowledge of tax and fiscal legislation; . Familiarity with the freight market; .
