The Blocks and Slabs Department is seeking an Engineering Assistant in Limeira. BLB Blocks and Slabs specializes in the manufacture of concrete blocks and precast slabs. The company stands out for the quality of its products and its commitment to sustainability. **Responsibilities:** Conducts weekly granulometric tests on aggregates to monitor their quality. Performs rupture tests on blocks, interlocking pavers, panels, and concrete test specimens from slabs, as well as molds the test specimens. Supervises production to ensure that block and paver dimensions comply with current standards. Studies Regulatory Standards (NRs) to ensure production adheres to them. Accompanies the General Foreman on construction sites, as requested by the client or management. Monitors calibrations of measurement equipment, verifying expiration dates for items including sieves, tape measures, squares, calipers, scales, and compression testing machines. Also participates in procedure reviews and internal and external audits related to ISO and ABCP standards, as they occur. Previous experience as an Engineering Assistant, Engineering Intern, Technical Assistant, or Engineering Helper may indicate suitability for some of the activities associated with this position.
