Description
**At TRINCA, we don’t hire people—we invite them to help build what comes next.**
At TRINCA, databases are not just about storage. They represent the layer where reliability meets strategy—where data architecture decisions determine whether a product will scale or stall, and where data governance and quality decide whether a company’s digital transformation truly happens or remains mere talk. We are a strategic tech partner, combining strategy, design, and technology to build digital solutions that deliver real, measurable impact for large enterprises. And to keep moving forward, we need people who understand that managing a database is only the beginning.
If you’re the kind of person who questions before implementing, who sees architecture as a business tool, who takes genuine pride in what you bring into the world, and who feels uncomfortable with generic solutions—this role could be your next big step.
**Your mission**
--------------
Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of databases, acting as the technical data reference across projects and supporting the evolution of data architecture so every delivery reflects true excellence—not just a database that responds.
Here, you won’t execute endless backlog tasks.
You’ll participate in decisions that shape the data foundation of products driving real businesses.
**The challenge**
-------------
* Maintain high technical standards in highly complex data environments—with multiple squads, stakeholders, and distinct business contexts
* Make data architecture decisions with direct impact on scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term cost
* Influence data governance and quality culture without formal authority
* Navigate ambiguity—initiatives arrive undefined and require someone who can structure the data foundation from scratch
* Balance reliability and security with delivery pace, recognizing they are not opposing forces
* Continuously evolve in a field that never stands still: new cloud platforms, new data practices, and emerging standards appear constantly
**What you’ll do day to day**
-------------------------------------
### **Data Administration and Architecture**
* Administer, monitor, and tune relational and non\-relational databases in cloud environments
* Ensure database integrity, availability, and security by implementing sound administration practices, backup policies, disaster recovery plans, and continuous production environment monitoring
* Define cloud-based data foundations and architecture aligned with the company’s strategic goals
* Automate data pipelines across product platforms, with long-term robustness and maintainability in mind
### **Data Governance and Quality**
* Plan and implement data governance—including defining a common baseline across different initiatives
* Build and maintain observability dashboards and data environment monitoring tools
* Document technical decisions clearly, ensuring knowledge isn’t siloed with any single person
* Rapidly identify and resolve production issues without sacrificing root-cause investigation
### **Collaboration and Product**
* Provide technical support to product squads on data modeling, access, and quality
* Actively participate in agile rituals: refinements, planning sessions, and retrospectives—with meaningful technical contribution
* Collaborate with developers, PMs, QAs, and designers to ensure the data layer reliably supports the intended user experience end-to-end
* Propose improvements to data processes and tools—grounded in practical understanding of each change’s real-world impact
### **Strategy and Impact**
* Adopt a consultative stance with clients—understanding their business context before proposing technical solutions
* Contribute to long-term data architecture decisions—not just sprint-by-sprint ones
**What we’re looking for in you**
--------------------------
### **Essential requirements**
* Solid experience in database administration, with active involvement in critical production environments and full-cycle data operations
* Proficiency in both relational and non\-relational databases—not only in operations but also in pre-implementation architectural decisions
* Experience administering data in cloud environments: provisioning, security, high availability, and cost optimization
* Mastery of performance tuning, backup policies, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring
* Experience with data governance, data modeling, and data quality practices
* Hands-on experience automating data pipelines and building observability
* Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and version control using GitHub
* Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation applied to data contexts
### **Behavioral competencies**
* Clear and concise communication—able to explain technical decisions to audiences with varying levels of context
* Genuine collaborative mindset and openness to constructive feedback
* Proactive ownership—taking responsibility for problems before being asked, while delivering consistently
* Commitment to continuous learning—without waiting for the company to drive every opportunity
### **Nice-to-have differentiators**
* Experience with Microsoft Azure and its cloud data ecosystem (Data Lake, Databricks, etc.) in medium- to large-scale projects
* Background in consulting firms or multi-client engagements
* Experience developing solutions for the insurance and brokerage sector
* Observability and automation as established habits—not just theoretical knowledge
**The TRINCA way of doing technology**
--------------------------------
* **Own the challenges:** here, no one waits for perfection before starting. You’ll encounter open problems, tough decisions, and unstructured contexts. We expect you to step into these situations with autonomy, curiosity, and commitment to outcomes
* **Connect authentically:** technology is a means—not an end. Understanding the client’s business, collaborating with product and design teams, and co-building—that’s what separates a good professional from a TRINCA professional
* **Deliver with pride:** we don’t deliver just what works. We deliver what’s high-quality, rigorously reviewed, sustainable, evolvable, and worth showing. If poorly built solutions bother you as much as poor results do, you’re in the right place
**Why this could be your next great opportunity**
---------------------------------------------------------
* Work on highly complex projects for large enterprises—with direct business impact for clients
* Join a company positioned as a strategic partner—not merely a vendor—which fundamentally elevates the quality of conversations and decisions
* Work closely with decision-making leadership and clients building meaningful products
* An environment that values technical autonomy, consultative posture, and perspective—not just execution
* A culture of continuous learning—with chapters, authentic knowledge sharing, and people who love what they do
* A growth and expansion context—TRINCA is on the move, with eyes on international markets
*We Build What's Next.*
**And the next future could start with you.**
