Bachelor’s degree completed; Relevant work experience; Knowledge of Core Tools, IMDS; Analyze the budget request submitted by the client and perform critical analysis. • Determine whether the request aligns with the company’s scope of activities and product portfolio. Material calculation and feasibility • Estimate raw material consumption per period (typically in sheets, m², or m³), based on part dimensions and requested demand (volume). • Assess whether the request can be developed, considering business volume and economic feasibility. Declining unfeasible requests • Request rejection of budget requests outside the company’s product portfolio. • Request rejection of requests whose business volume is unfeasible. Definition and development of raw materials • Specify required raw materials based on the client’s provided specifications. • Propose equivalent materials available in the company’s own line, where possible. • Collaborate with the Procurement Department to develop new raw materials or suppliers, considering business needs and feasibility. Conversions and adjustments to project cost • Perform currency conversions and physical unit conversions to align with the cost spreadsheet dimensions. Planning and operational processes • Predefine the process flow—from raw material arrival through final part production—using available process matrices in the system. • Propose efficiency improvement actions, optimizing part layout on blanks. • Develop CAD layouts to maximize part yield. • Determine output rate (parts/hour) for each involved production process. Quotations and revisions • Prepare CIF freight quotations, if necessary. • Issue quotations whenever required. • Revise previously submitted quotations upon request. Commercial document creation • Draft standard commercial letters as needed. • Prepare commercial letters based on pricing history and negotiation records. • Draft Customer Cost Breakdown (CBD) documents upon request.
