Job Summary: A professional responsible for loading, unloading, and moving goods; cargo inspection, organization, and optimization of logistics processes. Key Highlights: 1. Cargo handling and merchandise organization 2. Cargo inspection and verification 3. Optimization of loading and unloading time Perform loading and unloading of goods. Move goods between unloading and loading terminals, following guidelines for each type of goods, cubic capacity, and vehicle. Deliver and collect goods from end customers. * Verify invoices; * Check cargo weight; * Inspect cargo prior to movement; * Reapply sealing tape to packaging when necessary; * Verify storage conditions and proper cargo packaging; * Check volume identification labels; * Arrange deliveries according to schedule; * Sort cargo by destination; * Verify hazardous goods labels; * Optimize loading and unloading time; * Advise customers on proper goods packaging; * Follow packaging recommendations; * Control maximum stacking limits for boxes; * Request authorization for special cargo loading; * Palletize and wrap goods in bulk as per customer requirements; * Maintain warehouse cleanliness and proper organization; * Report any defective equipment; * Handle pallets correctly to prevent accidents and damage; * Perform other tasks relevant to the position.
