**Responsibilities:** * Ensure the correct adoption process for all new parts, involving all necessary stakeholders to guarantee successful implementation (with no impact on production line operations) and at the lowest possible cost. * Be responsible for groups of medium- to high-complexity parts, ensuring timely adoption execution and rigorous follow-up on each D/Note within one's scope. * Protect the plant against production line stoppages caused by inconsistencies in new implementations; avoid systemic adoption failures; and prevent risks that could also affect vehicle retrofitting or incur additional costs—e.g., air or road freight expenses. * Monitor the entire parts preparation process—from D/Note receipt through physical implementation—including confirmation of EOP (end-of-production) costs for each part undergoing a running change. * Exercise careful judgment and critical thinking when facing situations where external factors may jeopardize one’s own deliverables. * Monitor testing of new parts or projects; challenge Product and/or Process Engineering teams to deepen technical understanding of one’s assigned parts. * Possess in-depth knowledge of how one’s parts are applied across vehicle models and functions. * Lead meetings, pilot new projects, or manage critical departmental issues with proficiency—knowing whom to involve and how to approach matters appropriately—to help break down barriers and advance company business objectives. * Apply analytical, logical, and integrated thinking to understand rapidly evolving proposed processes; actively participate in follow-up and decision-making meetings; and maintain the BOM via the G2B system. * Demonstrate strong capability in managing and negotiating Running Changes (phase-in/phase-out of parts), both with local and international suppliers (ILNs). * Pilot specific activities such as the Floor Coordination Meeting, EOP (end-of-production parts), Collaboration Meeting, Back-Up Parts, and New Projects (Shatan). **Knowledge/Skills:** * Systemic vision and prevention-oriented mindset. * Critical thinking ability, agenda organization, and activity prioritization are essential. * Assertive communication, transparency, negotiation skills, and empathy are highly valued for this role. * Creative, out-of-the-box thinking and ability to respond to pressure by proposing more balanced alternative scenarios. **Software:** * Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word is mandatory. * Familiarity with creating Excel macros and other software tools (e.g., Access, custom systems, Tableau, RPA, etc.) that support development of time-optimization tools for daily departmental routines is considered a plus. **Experience:** * Basic understanding of the automotive manufacturing process. * Experience managing Bill of Materials (BOM); familiarity with OEM logistics; knowledge of parts and their functions. * Experience in the automotive industry or with automotive supply chain suppliers (preferably in Production Control, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, or Logistics). **Education:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline), Business Administration, Economics, Logistics Technology, or Industrial Production. * Postgraduate studies are desirable. **Languages:** * English — Intermediate level (Advanced level will be considered a plus) * Spanish will be considered a plus. **Work Location:** * NBA — Resende, RJ; **Work Model:** * Hybrid (4 days on-site / 1 day remote) **Business Travel:** * Willingness to travel occasionally as required by the department.
