Job Summary: The professional will work in the Metallurgy department, performing finishing operations on cast parts with emphasis on quality, precision, and compliance with technical standards. We value our employees and encourage professional advancement, recognizing and promoting talents who wish to **grow alongside the company**. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Clean molds and remove residual materials, preparing\-them for reuse or disposal. * Perform precise cuts on risers, gating channels, and other excesses from cast parts, using band saws, grinders, or other appropriate equipment. * Preserve structural integrity of parts during cutting, per drawings or supervisor instructions. * Remove burrs and surface imperfections from parts using grinders, sanders, or hand tools. * Ensure uniform finishing on parts, meeting specified visual and dimensional standards. * Conduct visual inspection of parts after finishing steps, verifying compliance with technical specifications and quality standards, reporting defects or irregularities that may compromise final part usage to supervision for corrective actions. * Maintain finishing equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and preventive checks. * Organize finished parts in designated areas to facilitate flow to subsequent production stages. * Ensure proper disposal of waste such as burrs and cuttings, following safety and sustainability regulations. * Document performed services and maintain effective communication with the team, reporting deviations and requesting resources when necessary. * Comply with safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE), marking hazardous areas, and maintaining workplace organization and cleanliness to prevent accidents. * Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Incomplete or completed elementary education. * Prior experience with rotating equipment is desirable. **Additional Information** **Chartered transportation or transportation allowance** – for greater convenience in your daily routine. **Life insurance** – protection for you and peace of mind for your family. **Health and dental plans** – caring for your physical health and your smile. **Pharmacy benefit program** – more convenience to purchase medications with exclusive discounts. **On\-site meals** – ensuring your nutrition is always guaranteed. **Lumar Metals Academy** – access to a Corporate Education platform offering various courses to develop your skills and accelerate your career. **Wellhub (Gympass)** – access to gyms, studios, and physical activities to care for your well\-being. **Clube Lumar \+ Benefits \-** Opportunities, discounts, partnerships, and many conveniences that make everyday life even better.
