Conduct knowledge-sharing exchanges We are seeking a ***"Senior Product Technical Support Engineer"*** for Scania’s Global Customer Support (GCS) department, which is responsible for delivering specialized technical support to increase product availability and usage by customers, supporting dealers with diagnostics, documentation, systems, and direct contact with global engineers. Global Customer Support has units in Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and North America, and now also includes its South American unit (São Paulo). The professional will face the challenge of meeting future demands arising from the introduction of new products and increasing technological complexity. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Clarify questions regarding operating principles of electrical and mechanical systems, repair methods, parts application, use of workshop tools, and information systems employed in product diagnostics. * Perform diagnostics and guide dealers in resolving technical deviations in Scania products or services. * Modify product configurations according to approved technical specifications, upon customer request. * Implement projects and processes aimed at improving technical support for Scania dealers and distributors. * Serve as the point of contact for one or more markets, addressing topics relevant to dealers within the scope of technical support. * Participate in daily meetings with the GCS team in Sweden and other global units to find solutions for complex technical problems. * Conduct short-term exchanges at other GCS units to share knowledge, deliver training, and understand customer needs and local cultural aspects. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Automation); * Knowledge of automotive communication networks (CAN, Ethernet, DoIP); * Fluent English (daily contact with headquarters); * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; * Willingness to travel occasionally; * Intermediate Spanish is considered a plus due to frequent interaction with countries across the Americas; * Specialization in electrified vehicles (BEV/Hybrid) is also considered a plus **Additional Information** **OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:** Scania’s recruitment process begins with application submission.
