**About the Area:**
The Insurance Controller area is responsible for managerial closing, critical analysis, and supporting product areas regarding strategy, costs, and results—whether from the perspective of verticals, products, sales channels, or branches. Our role is to act as a consultative partner with a technical and collaborative mindset, supporting business and corporate value generation.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Monitor and support monthly closing routines;
* Participate in preparing the Insurance Business Unit budget;
* Analyze results and indicators (actual vs. budget, forecast, and projections) and support internal clients;
* Analyze the market, identifying opportunities and risks, and suggesting actions;
* Monitor and analyze product pricing strategies, identifying opportunities and contributing improvement suggestions;
* Conduct periodic meetings to align and track product results, indicators, and strategies;
* Conduct studies to identify process opportunities and improve area and business efficiency;
* Prepare management reports, committee materials, and executive presentations;
* Support improving area processes and automation.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Technical Requirements: Completed undergraduate degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, or related fields);
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint);
* Prior experience required in the Controller area;
* Knowledge of the insurance industry required;
* Familiarity with the Automobile Insurance market is a plus;
* SAP ECC / SAP BW and IBM Planning Analytics (Cognos) knowledge desirable.
