**What are we looking for?** **Key responsibilities:** Design, develop, and enhance software components and applications—from prototyping through implementation—with a focus on performance and new features. Become a subject-matter expert on our POS systems, capable of explaining and improving complex codebases and assisting in solving complex problems. Assume a leadership role in architectural direction to scale technology and processes at high volume and quality. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various internal groups to help balance delivery speed and quality. Guide and train junior developers to maximize team velocity. Work as a developer within an agile team, collaborating with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and other developers to review and qualify requirements, specifications, and test plans. **Requirements:** Experience developing world-class microservices using Apache Spring Boot. Deep knowledge of Java and object-oriented principles. Experience with Spring Framework, ORM (Hibernate, JPA). Experience with Oracle SQL and MS SQL. Ability to design and develop scalable infrastructure components aligned with organizational goals. Familiarity with and exposure to major HTML frameworks, including PrimeFaces, React, or similar. Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and collaborative development practices (e.g., Code Reviews). Experience decomposing complex problems into simple modular solutions. Experience with various types of testing (unit, integration, etc.) and a software quality culture. Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
