CAPS (Psychosocial Care Centers) are services designed to receive and accompany patients with severe mental disorders through comprehensive care aimed at stimulating and supporting users in their initiatives to achieve autonomy, access employment, leisure, exercise civil rights, and strengthen family and community ties. Teams consist of physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, physical educators, psychopedagogists, occupational therapists, and other professionals. Activities include individual consultations, collective actions, therapeutic workshops, and coordination efforts with other health services within the network and with sectors such as Education, Culture, Leisure, Sports, and Social Assistance. Services are directed toward adults (CAPS Adult), patients with chemical dependency (CAPS Alcohol and Drugs), and children and adolescents (CAPS Child\-Adolescent); no referral is required for access. Currently, there are sixteen CAPS operated by the **Municipal Health Secretariat of São Paulo**, administered in partnership with SPDM/PAIS. **Responsibilities and Duties** Record production activities in spreadsheets and prepare reports; Participate in training, updating, and network integration events promoted by the Municipal Health Secretariat and the institution; Contribute to team interaction, both technically and interpersonally; Provide reception, institutional interventions (when necessary), individual and/or family consultations, home, hospital, and school visits; Coordinate therapeutic groups and workshops, as well as other group-based interventions, either internal or external to the unit; Propose, promote, and actively participate in network coordination meetings, case discussions, work process analysis, shared care, and intersectoral actions within the territory, contributing to co-management and shared responsibility in implementing individualized therapeutic plans for the served population; Record all relevant information in clinical records—including identification details—with date, time, signature, and official stamp, along with appropriate actions for each intervention; Receive and refer users and their families to other professionals within the unit or to other services according to demand; Provide care to users experiencing violence, risk, or social vulnerability, notifying competent authorities; Prepare specific psychological technical reports and opinions upon request; Provide diagnosis when necessary, according to ICD-10 and respecting the ethical guidelines of the Federal Psychology Council (CFP); Accompany users during daily activities and routines at the unit, including environmental activities; Carry out sectorial/departmental activities in accordance with instructions from the immediate manager and institutional standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Pedagogy * Completed Postgraduate Degree in Psychopedagogy * Minimum six months of documented experience as a Psychopedagogist; experience in mental health is considered an advantage **Additional Information** Position available for CAPS Child\-Adolescent located in the North Zone (Pirituba/Perus). 40 hours per week The **SPDM \- Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine** is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility—respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\. Thus, SPDM contributes effectively to the continuous improvement of services provided by Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS), primarily aiming to guarantee universality and equitable access to health services, essential for human and social development of citizens. To this end, it combines cutting-edge technology with high-quality medical care, supported by multidisciplinary teams comprising nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, speech-language pathologists, biochemists, psychologists, technologists, social workers, dentists, and others. **The Comprehensive Health Care Program (PAIS)** began operations in 2001 in the municipality of São Paulo and later expanded to other municipalities and states. Since its inception, **PAIS** has pursued, in partnership with public management, the growth and consolidation of health services offered to SUS users.
